Greenkiln Cottage offers bed and breakfast accommodation in a beautiful 18th century cottage with original oak beams, and cosy log burning stove in the lounge where you can relax after a days walking.

We are only 2miles from Pooley Bridge, on the edge of Ullswater and only 4miles from junction 40 on the M6.

The Queens Head, awarded National Pub of the year for 2003, is an excellent traditional village pub only 5 minutes walk away, serving good food and brewing their own beers.
